Established in 1890 Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club is one of the finest golf venues in Cairngorm National Park area. The course was designed by Willie Park with assistance from James Braid. Situated in the Cairngorm National Park, the course is approximately thirty five miles south east of Inverness. Grantown is the capital of Strathspey and is a small and friendly town with a grand history of tourism.

Our clubhouse sits in tranquil settings looking onto the Cairngorms and the Cromdale hills providing the ideal place to come and eat, drink and relax. We offer a social membership so you can enjoy our club facilities year on year. Our club is an ideal venue for birthday parties, social events and golfing societies.
Our PGA professional shop is stocked with our preferred supplier for 2018 Callaway with a range of goods in both hardware, consumables and accessories. Lewis is on hand to offer a full PGA service that include custom fitting, full repair service and a full coaching service that include one to one and group sessions.
Being a member of an established golf club like Grantown on Spey offers many benefits to the keen player to complete beginner looking for a new club. The opportunity to play for your club both home and away in team matches - our club teams include men's, seniors sides, ladies, mixed and of course juniors, plus we enter teams in county events such as the Northern County Championships and others.
PGA Professionals and Bigga Members receive complimentary golf via pre booking and will receive complimentary golf on the basis of producing their membership card upon check in. Our food and beverage team offers an all day menu to suit requirements of golfers and visiting parties. We can also suit your requirements for any birthday parties or private functions. Catering opening hours for the 2020 season are as follows 8.45 am to 5.00 pm 7 days the daily hours can be extended on request.

Our first time at this course and we were not disappointed. The course was immaculate and the greens superb, fast and fun to read. Although lots of trees it was the positioning of bunkers, ditches and shape of the holes that made it challenging. From the starter, members on the course and clubhouse staff everyone was welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our round and would recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

First time on this course and really enjoyed it. Was a bit of a challenge as I am new to the game but enjoyable all the same. Was very busy but it didn't hold us up too much. Can't comment too much on the clubhouse as we only had a coffee and a bag of crisps but it seemed nice enough and the people were very friendly visitors and locals.
