Abernethy Golf Club
We look forward to welcoming you to our naturally beautiful, challenging 9 hole course in the heart of Nethy Bridge, in the Cairngorms National Park. Please take a look at a flyover of our course. Green Fees and Bookings: Our green fees and booking arrangements are here. Unless we are running an event, tee times are usually available and pre-booking is not required although bookings have priority on the tee.

See our Club Diary or check the online booking sheet to see current availability. Online bookings are for 9 holes only. If you wish to play 18 holes just pay the balance of your green fees on arrival. If you wish a confirmed tee time and are unable to book online, please contact the club, preferably by email since the Clubhouse is staffed on a part-time basis.
Services
We are proud members of The 1893 Club, a group of more than 50 clubs worldwide all founded in 1893. Modern day visitors often ask why it was named Abernethy rather than Nethy Bridge since it is situated in that village. Historically however the parish name, Abernethy, was much more commonly used. The village name Nethy Bridge was imposed upon reluctant parishioners when the postal service was introduced to the area.
This is to confirm that you are a human entering details into the form and not a robot sending random data. Please enter the number that solves the simple equation in the box where it says 'What number?' For the holiday golfer this nine-holer is the place to visit. No bookings required, short enough to provide an introduction to the game for youngsters, but packed with character and not without challenge either.

Charming and quirky course with a variety of holes and challenges. If you want to play a round of golf with a smile on your face then this is a perfect course. Only downside was price at £20 for 9 holes.

Lovely friendly people who were most welcoming. The course itself is challenging and extremely well kept and sits in a beautiful setting. We can’t wait to visit again next summer.

“I played the course with my two 11 year old boys and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely nine hole course in good condition. Good variety of holes and a decent challenge for all with small greens and beautiful scenery. Will definitely be back next time we are up.” Robbie.

First time playing this course. A bit hilly especially in the heat. After a few holes managed to get into the swing of the course and enjoyed the experience

Well kept and lovely little 9 hole course, made tricky by a few blind shots and tight fairways. Super friendly clubhouse staff. Nice soup too. Well worth a visit.
