Services
Kirtlington GC plays an active role both regionally and nationally when it comes to raising best practice standards at UK golf clubs. Clubmark is Sport England's national accreditation scheme for high-quality community sports clubs. It recognises the highest standards of welfare, equity, coaching and management.
Kirtlington Golf Club offers your favourite sport on great quality surfaces, 365 days a year. With two loops of 9 holes, the 18-hole Kirtlington starts each loop with a generous Par Five.
Standout holes include the 3rd, a Par Four played to a green set in the most picturesque part of the course, beside the Oxford Canal; the two-tiered split fairway on the 6th; the 12th, a short uphill Par Four with water on the right; the 14th, another short Par Four with danger left, played to a green protected by trees; the 16th, with its Muirfield-style 'island' bunker; the 17th with its Alister MacKenzie-style two-tier green which drops at the back; and the downhill 18th, a Par Four where over-hit approaches will find a colossal bunker, one of the largest in England.

Right beside the KGC car park you'll find a spacious driving range with eight covered bays, grass tees plus a dedicated teaching bay. If you can out-hit the range, we're impressed. At 250 yards and slightly uphill, the Driving Range at Kirtlington has enough room for most golfers. Turn up, buy some balls, and hit to your heart's content in one of our covered bays or out on the grass.
We offer a range of playing options and equipment hire which can be booked in advance by calling the pro shop on 01869 351133. The bar and restaurant area is open to both our members and visitors all year round from 9am till dusk (8am on the weekends). Hot drinks are available throughout the day in the Pro Shop from 7:30am (7am on the weekend).
Our people - you'll come for the golf, but you'll return for the golf plus the warmth of the welcome. We like to make Kirtlington feel like your home club, even if you are a visitor. Our location - if you're in the middle of England with Oxford, Bicester, Banbury or Witney on the horizon, you're within half an hour of Kirtlington Golf Club.

Just played in the mixed open and really enjoyed the day, which was well organised.
Course was in great condition, loved the smooth, even-paced greens and enjoyed the hole variety. Fairways are pretty generous but on some holes a very wayward shot could catch thigh high grass where finding the ball, let alone playing it, would be really difficult. It's a fair test though.
Staff and members were welcoming, friendly and helpful, the food was excellent - served promptly in the light and spacious clubhouse.
I didn't use them (bacon roll/coffee then first tee for me these days) but the practice facilities

Very nice golf course which is well laid out and in very good condition. There is also a 9 hole course which I haven't played. Welcoming staff I pro shop and bar/catering area and well marked out for the present covid time. I played in a Senior pairs competition and everything ran very well except the rain and wind! Cracking company and day. Thank you Gary and staff, you did us proud.
