Hinksey Heights Golf Club
We follow a strict cleaning regime and have embraced the "Play Safe, Stay Safe" guidance from England Golf which we will continue to follow as we emerge from the crisis of the past year. The main course at Hinksey Heights opened in 1996. It has a earned a reputation for challenging good golfers and rewarding those of all abilities with 18 holes of quality golf combined with unique and spectacular views of the Dreaming Spires of Oxford.

There are good learning and practice facilities including an on-site driving range, putting green and chipping green. We have a loyal membership and new members of all ages and abilities are always welcomed into the club. For visiting players our green fees are excellent value and we offer special packages for golfing societies and corporate days.
Services
Visitors are always welcome at Hinksey Heights Golf Club where they can enjoy 18 or 9 holes of golf. Tee times can be booked online or by calling reception on 01865 327775. Hot and cold drinks are served all day and we have a relaxed dress code. We want every one of our guests to feel at home whatever activity they have come to enjoy.
Applying for membership is simple and with a number of options designed to suit your lifestyle and budget, we are confident you will be able to find a suitable membership. Full Memberships run from 12 months from the date of joining and are renewed on each anniversary. Anytime membership gives access to the course at any time, subject to booking.
Hinksey Heights Golf Course is an undulating heathland, links style course. It has many interesting and distinctive holes that reward the thoughtful golfer, tempting boldness with the option of playing safe. The Championship Course is testing yet fair to all standards of golfer. Visitors are always welcome to enjoy great golf in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with unsurpassed views of Oxford's Dreaming Spires and the beautiful Thames Valley.
Footgolf is amongst the country's fastest growing sports and we have embraced its growing popularity with the introduction of one of the few dedicated 18 hole Footgolf courses in the UK. Our Footgolf course overlooking Oxford offers an enjoyable challenge for all, young or older, male or female, boy or girl, footballer or novice.
As with Footgolf, Hinksey Heights has embraced this new game and was the first to offer a full 18 hole course in Europe when it opened in 2017. Our 1,750 yards par 72 course is set in rolling countryside with panoramic views over the city of Oxford. Using a kicking tee to start each hole, you can then punt, drop kick or pass the rugby ball into the hole but drop kicks must be taken when playing out of the rough.

Took six football mad lads around this course today for my son's 11th birthday and we all had a brilliant time. Some great holes to play and super views - saw some deer as well. The kids absolutely loved it. To cap it all off, the clubhouse was warm and friendly and the 2 lovely ladies behind the bar could not have been friendlier - we brought a birthday cake with us and they added all the candles, lit them, brought it out and presented it! Can't speak highly enough 👏⚽️

Hinksey Heights is a wonderful golf club. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food there is great and more than affordable and we'll deserved after a round of golf.
The Golf Course itself is well maintained. The front 9 is far more challenging than the back 9. The price is also fair which is why I choose to play here when I find the time to play. Would I recommend this course to others? Yes I would.
My photo's are from today and two weeks ago.

This course has been improved immeasurably over the last 3 years. Now it's a course as lovely as the views from it!

Undulating challenging course, with long grass in rough (impossible to find ball). Nicely contoured greens but surface was very bobbly. Bacon baps were good and staff very friendly & accommodating. Would play there again.

First time here today and course was in fine condition. Was expecting a lot worse based on previous reviews but couldn't fault it. A lot of the bunkers are GUR but that works for me! Great value for money, challenging with the wind and stunning views over Oxford.
