Services
OSTEOPATHY is a form of therapy that uses a wide range manual techniques, tailored to the individual, to treat underlying structural causes of pain and discomfort. It enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself. Treatment may involve relaxing massage techniques to reduce tension in the muscles, gentle joint articulation to encourage mobility and joint manipulation if a particular joint is not moving well.
The initial consultation and treatment takes approximately one hour and subsequent treatments approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Treatment time may be shorter but the same appointment time is allocated. The osteopath will then take a thorough case history including details of your present problem, past problems, general health, and medical history.
