Museum Hotel Oxford
The Hotel is a beguiling 10 bedroom hideaway, located in the heart of historic Oxford, the building dates back to 1594 & houses numerous unique features, from embracing the latest technology, to respecting its historic charm of old previous hidden fire places and a spiral staircase, which leads to our most romantic rooms. Relax in either of the two lounge areas with our unique 24hr Barista grade coffee machines that offer 8 different coffee variants, plus amazing hot chocolate.

We are the first hotel in the UK to offer a wholly automated check in service and whilst our staff very much pride themselves on providing a warm welcome, guests benefit from having the option of being completely independent - allowing greater control and freedom for when they can come and go from the hotel.
Services
Blinds and Sky lights are operated by the white remote control in your desk. Please use the right up/down arrows to adjust the blind and left up/down arrows to open/close the window. Individual Climate Control & centralised heating (We strongly recommend that guests use the Air Conditioner to keep the room cool instead of opening windows to minimise outdoor noise).

Yes it's a good hotel clean, but zero parking 🅿 you will have to park in the shopping centre at 30 pounds per night

This place is unbeatably central, and as quiet as you could reasonably expect given the location. It's clean, well run, and well priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our luggage with them on the day of checkout so we could make the most of the day.

Had a lovely stay here. The room was very modern, and the blackout blinds were an added bonus. The only downside was our WiFi didn’t work in the room.

Booked a room for two nights for £178/ night. The hotel has no proper entrance and is hid above a betting shop. We couldn't open the front door with the code (sent by the hotel in advance). There is no hotel personnel, who could welcome us and open the locked door. When calling the helpline, we were told that it is a self-serviced hotel (no prior notice was given). The lady couldn't help us open the front door and promised us to send us a new code by text message. No message was sent. Furthermore, we were told that no refund of the money could be given. (Booking Reference no. 29802).

Not in the habit of leaving bad reviews - but honesty prevails and I feel the need to make people who are considering staying fully aware of a massive potential problem that the hotel is aware of - but won't tell you at the time of your booking -
yes the hotel is in a great location - it's convenient and all that , however there is a 24 hour minicab service that operates underneath some of the bedroom windows - so at 2.30am if you're trying to sleep - FORGET IT ! - the noise levels were overwhelming , shouting - car doors slamming , engines revving - cars being cleaned and vacuumed ( seriously

Sweet hotel with a lovely help yourself breakfast and tea area. The rooms are super tiny so you wouldn't want to spend more time than when sleeping in the room itself, the communal area makes up for that.
Great location, walking distance to most things to see and do
