Physiotherapy is classified as an essential service and as such we can continue to see patients for face-to-face consultations. For those who are clinically vulnerable or would rather not attend in person, we are offering 'Online Consultations' via Zoom. Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focussed on reducing pain and maximising an individual's functional potential, particularly when this has been threatened by injury, disease.

Our balance is based on " A perception of movement of the environment, or of oneself within the environment". Vertigo is a symptom indicating there is a problem in our balance. Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment that involves manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort and muscle spasm.

Adam Rawling at Portland Physio, is so incredibly knowledgeable. He has accurately diagnosed different issues in my body, some of them which have been plaguing me for years!
His exercises were adjusted and graded as treatment progressed and his great manner, professionalism and knowledge have supported me to return to full mobility. Thank you so much!
I have also always found the front of house staff polite and friendly and all-round I’m very grateful for all the hard work at the clinic in supporting everyone’s health.

I have been using Portland Physiotherapy Clinic for my physiotherapy needs ever since 2005: initially for bursitis, then for arthritic knees, back problems, recuperation following a knee replacement and recuperation following a hip replacement. In those 15 years I have always found the physiotherapists friendly, helpful and -- most importantly – knowledgeable and willing to work with me to get the most out of my recoveries. More recently (following the hip replacement) they have come out to the house to help get me up and moving, and supplied me with canes to help me move away from a walking

Best physiotherapy I have experienced. Adam was able to identify a range of treatments that with perseverance have sorted out a really tricky and quite chronic hip and groin injury. Great person centred approach, really explained the issue and mechanisms involved - meaning I felt I really understood what each exercise was aiming to achieve.

Very knowledgeable and could identify what my issue was. Excellent manual therapy and provided me with a good plan for my rehab with videos of the exercises to help me remember what to do.
