Services
The majority of the bedrooms are single, with en-suite facilities. All the rooms are equipped with 24hour call system in the event of assistance being required. Although each room is tastefully decorated and furnished and equipped with a lockable cabinet, we encourage you to personalise your room with pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture.
The staff and management team work on a shift basis to ensure that assistance and support, if required, is provided 24 hours a day. They undergo regular training and assessments to ensure that only the highest standard of care is available to the residents at all times. Our Care Home in Aigburth is Investors In People accredited and is committed to the development of all its staff.
Ranelagh House recognises that good and wholesome food not only enhances quality of life but it also plays a major part in our health and well being. Emphasis is placed on nutrition, presentation and personal preferences. We provide a varied and choice of menus. If there is nothing on the menu that you desire, please let us know and we will provide alternatives for you to choose from.
We aim to promote leisure and social activities within the Home to encourage a full social life for our residents to participate in if they choose. There are also a variety of day trips, evenings out and pub lunches arranged throughout the year thereby integrating the Care Home in Liverpool's wider social life.
We encourage new residents, whether on Respite or Long-Term Care, to remain with their G.P. if possible. However, if your G.P. is unable to keep you on, then we have a choice of local practices that would be happy to enrol you as a patient. If you are receiving attention from a hospital then our staff in our Care Home in Liverpool can assist you in arranging transport to and from your appointment and if necessary can also accompany you.
