Services
We have a wealth of experience in handling and managing cats and dogs. This experience comes from our time owning a very successful pet sitting and dog walking business in London. Chris has attained qualifications in animal welfare and pet behaviour from the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE) and we are members of the Association of Licensed Kennel and Cattery owners (ALIKC).
If you are going away for a few days and need someone to take care of your beloved pets, we at Four Paws Boarding Kennels and Cattery can offer reliable assistance with dog boarding. We take care of all your dog's needs and can provide the bowls, beds, bedding and food, or you can bring as much of their own food, toys and blankets as you think they'd like!
All of us who have had cats as pets recognise that each cat has a very distinct, and at times demanding, personality. Some cats like plenty of attention and others like a bit more solitude, peace and quiet. As such we allow the cats to decide when and if they want cuddles or just '.top up my kibble please.'.
No matter what your pets need, we will do everything possible to accommodate, whether it's a special diet or medicine that needs administering; just let us know! We can also provide you with information and tips on other things such as nail trimming, rainy-day games or interactivity and mental stimulation for your pet.

Four paws is in my opinion the best Kennels there is, we have used them a number of times and have no complaints whatsoever, my terriers are wary of strangers but not Chris the owner, their tails wag when they see him. I'm more than happy leaving them there when needed and no I don't have to worry about them, I know they are being well cared for.

Taking Miss Milly to the kennels was an anxious time for us as we had never put her in kennels before.
We took the opportunity for a pre stay visit and took Milly along with us and we all liked what we saw. Great exercise paddock, walks and roomy kennels.
The morning arrived, we were met by Chris, handed her lead to him and off she went without a care in the world!!
We even received texts while we were away to let us know how she was doing.
On our return, we were met with a very happy Milly and know she had enjoyed her stay, we will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We take our Labrador Dog Ruby to Chris at Four Paws and would never take her anywhere else.
She has been going to Four Paws since she was a puppy, (when the previous owners Doug & Janet were there), and she is quite a nervous dog when meeting new people or people she doesn’t see often, and it takes her time to get to know them before becoming the wonderful, friendly happy dog she is with us as a family.
Chris spends a lot of time providing fantastic care and putting in a large amount of patience & effort with Ruby, encouraging her to relax and become more confident each time she goes there

We came across Four Paws when looking online as our usual kennel was full. I read the reviews and was happy to give it a go. We dropped our 2.5 year old Lab Toby off in the morning, he didn't even look backwards when he walked off with Chris. I arrived to collect Toby early this morning and was happy to wait in the car until opening time, but… Chris spotted me and was happy for me to come in early. The kennels were quiet and Toby looked relaxed and happy and very comfortable in Chris's company. Chris put him in the car for me and had even adjusted Toby's loose collar which showed me that

Ould just like to Thank Chris and his little family for taking good care of my puppy dog Lincoln. They are very welcoming, professional and have lovely Kennels. Lincoln loved his time at the kennel and grew very fond of Chris who treated Lincoln as his own. Would highly recommend for any pet owner. This place is such a puppy dog haven.
