Staff do not ask for vaccine cards which should be required. From what I saw, they have crammed a large number of dogs into the kennel building and the pens are dark and dank. Kennel doors do not have an opaque lower half which means that dogs can see each other which can cause aggression issues. Any disturbance leads to a cacophony of noise so if your dog has any issue with anxiety I would advise you look elsewhere.

This the 3rd time our Jack Russell Max has been to Ty Cafn and we can say without reservation he had a fantastic time, so much so he slept the whole of the next day. Steve and Nicola were very understanding as we had to cancel Max 3 times due to our holiday being cancelled however we did manage to salvage some days in Sep for a few days.
We would certainly recommend Tal y Cafn as the establishment is very clean and the staff are very caring. Thank you.

I have 2 toy size dogs. They have stayed with relatives most times I went away but this time I needed Kennels, the staff invited me to go have a look around and i booked them in for 4 days the following weekend. They went in tails wagging without a look back.
I went to collect them this morning they were happy clean excited . They'd had a great time. The staff are excellent.
I will be using the kennels again soon.
