Even in these times of Covid, I have so little time and so much to do. Contractor Financials who I used before got this. So I went to CMME (who I think took over from them) and they insisted that we had to have a telephone engagement for "GDPR reasons" which obviously makes no sense. I don't need someone making small talk, reading out small print and asking me questions for which I don't have the answers to hand for hours. Went to John Charcol and they were great and did the whole thing by email. So the review isn't on what they're like - it's about what they were like when I tried to use them

The whole experience for me was great. They really went above and beyond to help with finding a suitable mortgage at a good rate which as a contractor is not that easy to do. I would certainly recommend them and cannot fault them. Alexandra and Rebecca who looked after us were lovely . They explained everything in simple terms and were always available when needed. I saved £500 on my mortgage with one phone call. Stuart was very friendly and found the best mortgage for me in a few minutes. The process was clearly explained and the customer portal easy to use for uploading my documents. The hardest part was finding the information in my filing system, box, loft etc. Would highly recommend CMME to anybody looking for a new cheaper mortgage.
