Bridge To Health
To view "pain" in the broad sense as a cry of attention from the body and, on occasion, the mind. To go beyond treating mere symptoms and seek to address the root causes of a complaint, as well as broader aspects of lifestyle and health such as nutrition, exercise, posture management and mindset.

Where relevant, to help and support you progress on your path of life: although each of us is individual and distinctive, most of us end up settling for a limited set of jobs or life opportunities - but what if you were to identify that elusive, perfectly matching "square hole" life opportunity?.
Services
The following notes are for general guidance when you come to see us for osteopathic or massage treatment. If you have any specific concerns please speak to us prior to your appointment. You are most welcome to bring someone with you to the appointment - partner, parent or friend.

Although we aim to respect patient modesty at all times, be aware that clinical treatment methods may on occasion feel invasive, so please wear appropriate underwear for examination and treatment of your spine and other relevant physical areas.Alternatively, you can bring light, flexible clothing such as leggings and a sports top.
Osteopaths are skilled at preventing back pain from becoming a long-term condition. We use joint mobilisation and manipulation, and soft tissue massage to realign joints, stretch muscles and release tension. We treat the specific areas of pain but also their underlying causes. We will also give you tailored exercise, postural and lifestyle advice.
Sciatica is caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve stems from the spinal cord and runs from the lower back to the feet. We treat sciatica with joint mobilisation and where indicated with joint manipulation, and soft tissue massage to release the pressure on the sciatic nerve. We may also give you tailored advice on the best way to sit, stand and sleep, exercise and lift heavy objects.
Shoulder pain problems are often complex and may take a long time to resolve. We use massage and stretching techniques to reduce tension in tight local muscles and gradually improve the movement in your shoulder. We may also realign the joints and massage the muscles in your neck, upper and mid back and shoulder blade area if we judge they contribute to your shoulder pain.
We will look at the patient as a whole, assessing the mobility and function of the hip but also examining the lower back, pelvis and other lower limb joints. We also conduct orthopaedic tests to assess the behaviour of the hip and surrounding muscles and joints that may also be implicated. We will gently traction and mobilise the hip joint and massage the hip muscles to reduce tension and improve joint function.

I had pains in my right wrist and arm which was caused by using my laptop and mouse over many years at work.
Lukas has helped me to ease the pain and I am now able to continue with my work again and am almost pain free.
I can only recommend Lukas's skills and professionalism. He is also very caring and got a good sense of humour.

I have been a patient at Bridge to Health since April and I am so grateful to have found not one but two excellent therapists there!
Barbara is an incredible acupuncturist - her intuitive and empathetic ability to pinpoint (no pun intended!) the root cause of an issue is truly remarkable. I'm recovering from Long Covid and my treatments with Barbara have been vital to my recovery - I had been signed off work for six months when I started treatment with her in June and am now back to working my full hours from home - I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Sian is a fantastic osteopath - professional

I have been a patient of Bridge to Health Uxbridge for just under a year now and the team here are amazing.
Daman Khangura - can only be described as Osteopath Wizard. Using various techniques for acupuncture to cupping and has helped my back, neck and knee pain which has been bothering me for years. He’s so good I have recommended various friends and family and we often compare notes on treatments but the one thing which remains consistent is Daman’s ability to just make us feel better. Honestly couldn’t recommend Bridge to Health or Daman enough.

I have been coming here for the last 8 months and I have felt the benefits! I have tried the Osteopath and the Massage services. Working from home has been to the detriment of my body!
When you enter they sanitise your hands and temp gun your forehead.
The Oesteo, Mathieu, has been very attentive. The sessions are 45 minutes and he always goes over. The cost is £60. I am able to claim some of it back with my health insurer. Apart from realigning my hip, 'cracking' my neck, and releasing my back; he has provided exercises to strethen my back and simple advice such as move more! Mathieu wipes

Daman sees the body in the same detail as Neo sees the matrix. He has a deep comprehensive understanding of how the body works together to produce healthy movement.
I have a chronic knee problem I had come to accept and live with. I only brought it up with Daman having seen how masterfully he had identified the root causes of other niggles. He attentively listened to my subjective report and was able identify the real issue which wasn’t discovered with an MRI!
I was really impressed to receive an email a few days after treatment to hear how my daily exercises were going.

I've been going to Bridge to Health for just over a year now. While they have a number of outstanding osteopaths I always get treated by Daman. He is an incredibly knowledgeable osteopath and is always able to treat/fix any and all issues that I present to him (and I generally have a plethora of issues!) He doesn't just treat you he also explains the background behind why you are probably in pain to begin with, something I love finding out about.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bridge to Health and especially Daman to anyone. Amazing service!

I have been going to bridge for health for about 1 and half years. This was following a lower back injury. After the first session I had 80% of my movement back! Mathieu is incredibly professional, and I would highly recommend him. I play quite a few sports and have found it beneficial to keep attending.
During these strange times and Covid, I can confirm that hygiene practices are incredibly high, and that all precautions are taken. The environment feels very safe.

I have been treated by Mathieu for about a year now. Even after 1 session my neck felt so much better. I would highly recommend him, he is professional, knowledgeable, and so kind.
His reception staff,Sue and Susan are very friendly and make you feel at ease.
If you are worried about visiting the clinic during this pandemic, please don't be. Mathieu is very thorough with making the clinic covid safe, I had no worries at all.

I have not seen Mathieu or Harry in quite some time, but I can assure anyone who has any issues that they will be in the best hands you can find. I have been going to Mathieu or any other of the Osteopaths for the last 10 years+. I play a lot of sports and have injuries from terrible back aches, neck pain, joint issues, hip mobility, you name it, the issue has always been diagnosed almost instantly with a plan to fix it. All staff are extremely professional and polite, I've been recommending people to use their services for 10 years now and I have only ever heard of really good experiences.

Came to see Mathieu following injuring my knee and from the first appointment, his treatment and care have been first class. Mathieu made it clear that for any progress made to maintain, I needed to make changes at home and having a standing desk would be vital, as I was spending most of the day seated. After battling some office bureaucracy, with the help of a note from Mathieu, the difference following treatments with the standing desk, along with the balance board from Bridge to Health, has been incredible.
Mathieu has been a great help and his excellent knowledge and advice have been fantastic
