Amazing place to stay. Staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. The site is lovely and peaceful, with a park for the children and chickens and pigs to pet. You can hire bikes on site too. A brilliant base to explore cornwall, with everything within a drives distance. The bungalow is exceptional clean, with everything you need. Will definitely be coming back again

We spent the last week here. Was a great base for exploring Cornwall's beaches. The facilities onsite are excellent and the owners friendly and make you feel welcome. We rented body boards to take to the beach, and the owner recommended Polzeath as the best beach for beginners. Our kids loved it. They made lots of friends on the site and were off playing with them each evening. We were in Maple Lodge. It's not 5 star luxury, but is clean and spacious enough for a family of 5. The wifi is decent, and the kids were happy to find that the TV had youtube and iplayer. There are pigs and chickens and

This is the second time we have stayed here in one of the wigwam pods, again we have had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.
This is such a lovely campsite providing spotlessly clean facilities, a warm welcome, well stocked little shop, large play area for children to run around and a few swings and a climbing frame and most of all tranquility. Sit for a while and you can watch the squirrels larking about in the trees and yittering to each other, the woodland birds venture very close to you (my son had a one land on his foot!) and for the first time in many years I saw a Jay. Visit

Could not recommend this place more highly!
We booked a hard-standing plot with electric hook up for £16 per night in early October 2020.
Our plot was nicely screened off from others by vegetation.
The washing, showering and toilet facilities are second to none.
Lots to do for smaller children, but probably not ideal for teenagers as the place itself is miles from anywhere. Lovely 1.5 hour walk along the nearby Camel Trail to Bodmin though (would recommend you seek out The Hole in the Wall pub when you get there).
The on-site shop is well stocked with all you could need, including local produce

Great location, only few minutes ride for mountain biking in Grogley Woods and few more for the camel trail for a easy ride to Padstow or Bodmin. Facilities were excellent and kept very clean. The owners were very friendly and very accommodating. A well stocked shop with wetsuit and bike hire. Excellent WiFi coverage across the campsite included and very reasonable price for staying!
Would just say as a caution some of the entrances are quite narrow for larger vehicles, our 7.5m motorhome did fit but tight on entrance.
