About Us Report

It's current owner, Andy Mayhew, has been running the Centre since its High St premises opened and took over as sole trader of the business in 2007. We are probably unique in the world in being able to offer a bespoke weather forecasting service as well as selling you a chest of drawers, antique vase or candlestick.

Foam Report

We stock standard medium density, fire retardant, upholstery foam in a variety of thicknesses. This is ideal for everything from dining chair seats to sofa cushions to bunks and seating in boats and caravans. Often this can be cut to size for you whilst you wait but during busy periods, or for more complicated items, it may be necessary to collect your foam later in the day or the following day.

Great antiques Pandora's box. Absolutely massive with some fascinating bits and bobs. Just off the main road so not instantly visible but definitely worth a visit.

I love looking round antique shops and I was really lucky to find a couple of perfect items of furniture to fit my studio. I have to go back as we have more wall space to fill and more furniture to buy 😃

Lovely Antiques Shop, lots of good items up there. If you want a good deal for furniture, model railway stuff, ETC, this is the place to go! I myself have had some excellent deals, I got a Hornby B17/4 called 'Manchester United' from there, and the guy even dropped the price £15 for me! I shall definitely be getting more stuff from there. 10/10
