Stage Right Centre For The Performing Arts
We are a school for all ages and abilities, beginners to advanced, just for fun or for those seeking a career in performing arts. A place where all students can achieve their full potential. Our theatre school sees many local families coming through our doors each week. We also run full time college courses such as the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice in partnership with King James Academy, Royston.

We have our own fully equipped premises and a team of friendly and professional teachers who are all specialists in their own fields. We offer numerous grade and vocational exam sessions, medal sessions and a full scale cabaret style production involving the whole school every 16-18 months. The school also takes part in local competitions and festivals with students qualifying for and gaining medals at the All England Finals.
Services
Stage Right was established in 1978 by our patron Wendy Truett as 'the Wendy Truett Theatre School'. The school became Stage Right under the direction of Wendy's daughter Melanie Truett and in 1998 when Melanie decided to resume her professional performing career the school was handed over to Kerry Hay, a former pupil of the Truett's.
Dance and Performing Arts School with purpose built studios providing classes for all ages and abilities. Stage Right offers a full selection of dance and performing arts classes at our centre in Royston, Herts. We have qualified and experienced tutors and also welcome guest professionals seen on stage and screen for regular workshops.
