The farm lies adjacent to Kenilworth Castle, in the picturesque Arden area of Warwickshire. It is steeped in history being part of the Kenilworth Castle estate until the early 20th Century and contains some important historical features. The farm name comes from the French word 'Pleasaunce' meaning pleasure garden.
Kenilworth Castle, which dates back to the 12th Century and was the start of the historic town of Kenilworth, Warwickshire is situated just 1km across the fields or 1.5 miles on the road. It's a must see for any visitor to the town. The old historic High Street of Kenilworth with its charming pubs and restaurants.
We have a locked storage shed where you can store your bikes while you are staying with us. A key can be requested on arrival. You are welcome to clean your bike during your stay and we have a hose and brush available. These are located round the back of the Granary and Old Dairy gardens just outside the stables.
You can arrive any time after 3pm on your day of arrival. This gives us enough time to ensure that your accommodation is cleaned to the standard that we wish to maintain. You need to vacate your accommodation by 10 am on your day of departure. If new guests are not arriving immediately late departures are available by arrangement, but there may be a charge.

Spacious, well-equipped house - beautifully converted. Good location for exploring Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. The Clarendon Arms in Kenilworth has a varied menu of good pub food.

We really enjoyed our stay at North Mere, the cottage (Grannary) was really nice with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. Some nice little touches like arriving to tea and coffee in the cupboards and some milk in the fridge was very welcome after the drive.
The garden at the rear of the cottage was well kept and a nice relaxing space in the sunny weather.
Located close to Kenilworth where there is a wide array of places to eat. We would definately recommend Kenilworth Cantonese if you want a takeaway.

In the heart of the countryside but within walking distance of good food & drink locations in Kenilworth. Clean, tidy and comprehensively equipped. We used it whilst working at the NEC, perfect.
