The Shakespeare Houses are five properties owned and maintained by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. These properties are connected to William Shakespeare or his immediate family, and offer an insight into the famous playwright's world.
Three of the houses are located in the town centre (Shakespeare's Birthplace, Nash's House & New Place, and Hall's Croft) and the others can be easily found just outside the town (Anne Hathaway's Cottage in Shottery and Mary Arden's House in Wilmcote).Tickets for the open-top bus tour which runs regularly between all the properties are available from The Hill Cottage.

Gillie &Paul.superb hosts.nothing too much for them...The accommodation is gorgeous, gardens are fantastic!! And location was perfect for our needs and very close to Stratford upon Avon...Our room was excellent...decorated with a peacock theme and with a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful part of the garden and towards Stratford..tea coffee making facilities, hairdryer, and shower toiletries. Then the breakfast, perfect. Really couldn't recommend The Hill Cottage enough and would definitely stay again

Amazing location. Loved the garden and pond and the ducks in the morning.
Loved my lovely room with en-suite shower room. The views from my window were idyllic. Gillian and her husband were lovely hosts too
I slept so well! Whished I could have stayed another night as it was so peaceful.
Hopefully will come again if in the area.
