Bereavement is a very personal and complex experience. It is increasingly recognised that no two people respond the same way to the losses associated with the death of a loved one.
People's reactions to a death are influenced by such factors as ethnic or religious traditions; personal beliefs about life after death; the type of relationship ended by death (relative, friend, colleague, etc.); the cause of death; the person's age at death; whether the death was sudden or expected; and many others. In addition, the death of a loved one inevitably confronts adults with the fact that they too will die.

To my dearest family, some things Id like to say. But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

Sadly my mum passed away suddenly and O'Brien's had been asked to do the funeral. I was in England so had to liaise with Brendan on the phone until I could get home, I can honestly say that this isn't just a job to them it's a vocation they are such a genuinely caring and respectful family from beginning to end they made such a sad and difficult situation so much easier to deal with my mum had a very dignified send off I cannot recommend them highly enough I hope the business goes from strength to strength for you
