J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors are family run and proudly independent serving local communities and families across Northern Ireland since 1841. The business was started by Mr Joseph McMenamin in Rainey Street, Magherafelt, who was also a publican in the town who died in 1909. The business was passed on to his daughter Marian Gormley (Nee McMenamin) who married Patrick Gormley (Goles, Cranagh) who also ran a bar in the village of Desertmartin.
We provide a service for the deceased and the bereaved that is individual. We can help and guide you through the necessary arrangements, costs, burial grounds, cremations, headstones and more. J. A.
