Both these programmes are filmed in the immediate surrounding areas of the Holme Valley. The area has outstanding scenery, superb walks, high hills and green valleys, and is steeped in local history.

All three of our luxurious self-catering cottages in Holmfirth are fully furnished, fully central heated and fully modernised, whilst still retaining their rustic, countryside, Holmfirth charm. The kitchen boasts the beautiful original exposed beams and is very well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge / freezer and laundry facilities including a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

From the south leave the M1 at Junction 35a and follow the Manchester / Huddersfield signs for 10 miles approx. When you reach the large roundabout go straight across onto the A616 to Huddersfield. Follow this road for 1 mile until reaching a crossroads where you then turn left onto the B6106 to Holmfirth near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
