Upwood Holiday Park opened in the mid-1960's, offering a country escape to the holidaying public. Taken over by Frank Towers in 2002 the park has undergone extensive renovations and upgrades in the past few years. With Frank's futuristic ideas and drive to make the park a pioneer in the camping arena, Upwood holiday park was not only the first park to have glamping Mega-pods but Frank also had a hand in designing them!
The next big step forward was the arrival of three Mongolian Yurts - a first in West Yorkshire! Our accommodation takes in the best of the stunning panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Upwood Holiday Park is pleasantly situated just one mile from the historic Bront village of Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway.

Services
Our onsite Healing Lodge launched in 2019 and has proved to be a very popular addition to Upwood Holiday park! At the lodge you can relax and enjoy a range of treatments from a relaxing massage right through to spiritual healing and Mediumship Readings, there is something for everyone so we can guarantee you will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and uplifted.
At Upwood we are committed to making our products and services as accessible as possible. We are doing this by taking a long term approach to the changes we are making on a regular basis. Public Transport is available from the Park entrance on a regular daily basis to all surrounding towns and villages.
Food is served on weekends and during busy holiday periods. We have a large number of pitches for touring caravans, motor-homes and tents. A combination of both hard and grass pitches. Some minimum stays apply during Easter and Bank Holidays. Prices include electricity. To book a large tent, please contact our reception by telephone so we can check availability and provide you with a suitable pitch.
The residential section is away from the holiday area, so it's quiet; a lovely location for people over the age of 50 looking for security and tranquillity. The advantage of the residential section's proximity to Upwood's holiday facilities is that residents can make use of the restaurant and bar on the park; a place not just to enjoy a meal or snack but to make friends, too.
Our Static Holiday Homes are the perfect escape for you and your family, located only a short distance from our Club House where you can enjoy a meal, snack or drink from our huge drink selection, sit outside in our newly refurbished beer garden or sit in the quiet snug whilst the kids let off steam in the indoor play area.
