Just home after our second holiday this year at Big Sky Lodges. Perfect location for a quiet, peaceful break. Accommodation clean with all amenities e.g. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, selection of… DVDs and board games. Ideal base for exploring all the Black Isle and beyond has to offer. Missing the heilan coos, barn swallows, robins, rabbits and red kites already - not forgetting the fire pit, BBQ and log fire.

We had a fabulous holiday at Big Sky, the lodge exceeded our expectations and it was a fantastic base for our week away. We travelled near and far, fantastic walking, waterfalls with salmon leaping, beaches, lochs, good food and Minger cheese! Many evenings spent next to the fire pit, exploring the woods and enjoying family time.

I am 52 years old and this lodge is the first time in my life I’ve returned to the same place. Honestly, it’s that good. Accommodation and facilities in the lodge are super, the setting is so peaceful and the people that run the setup so so nice. I came here in summer 2020, am here again now, and would recommend it to anyone.

There aren't words to properly explain what a stay at this place does for the soul. In a week we've rested & explored in equal amounts. We feel like we've been away for weeks! Such a wonderful way to support a family business, getting an excellent & memorable holiday in return. The proprietors are kind & thoughtful- always there if you need any suggestion how to spend your time & will leave you alone if you would rather. Heaven on earth really - sad to have left those views behind

We stayed in the Hideaway, which is the wee caravan at the side of the lodges. It was a wee AirBnB number, and i have to say it was gorgeous. Very private and sweet. The wood burning stove was a gorgeous touch which made the nights cosy. 20 minutes from Inverness city centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend.

Great place for some decent peace and quiet. Went for a week and we stayed in pipers lodge. Unfortunately we had to leave before our week was up! Nothing to do with Big Sky Lodges though. 12 min drive to… Inverness and also muir of ord has a chippy and a very good bakery. Oh the Highland Coos were ace. The whole family couldn't get enough of them! Woods for a good walk about at the bottom of the path was great too. Definitely be back 😊.

We have just left today having spent Christmas at the lodge. lovely welcome hamper and Xmas tree in the lodge. Lots of little touches throughout that make all the difference and make it feel like home. Eagle Lodge is the end lodge and you get the feeling your miles from anyone even though your neighbours are close. Well planned out place. Would definitely stay again. The Wooff and Jones family

Loved this place. The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed. View was lovely and we found the site very peaceful and had a very relaxing stay there. Close to Inverness (and closer to Dingwall) which was very handy. Used it as a base to tackle the (absolutely terrifying) Applecross section of the NC 500, which worked well, but wish I'd taken it for the whole week so I could have spent more time just relaxing there. Recommended.

Lovely cabin in middle of nowhere but close to Inverness 20mins in car or muir of ord 6 mins in car. Great to get away from it all and just have family time. Cabins are great and really comfortable. It may be - 3 outside but we are all toasty and warm in the log cabin playing board games and watching TV.
