The lodges are west from Balnain, close to Lochletter Forest and are surrounded by fields and woodland with no through traffic. The access is via a private road which crosses the River Enrick as it leaves Loch Meiklie, a wee loch close to the lodges. Drumnadrochit is a nice small village, which is only a 10 minute drive, where there are shops and restaurants.
Inverness the capital of the Highlands is about half an hours drive and has a excellent shopping centre, cinemas, theatre complex, swimming pool and other recreational facilities. I am Vincent and sitting next to me is my dog Orrin. In 2009 I bought the business and like to keep the lodges in a nice, quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

We have just returned back from another fantastic week at Lochletter Lodges. Set in an idyllic location just a few miles from Drumnadrochit and the banks of Loch Ness, these lodges are a real hidden gem and are ideal for either exploring the Scottish Highlands or just enjoying a peaceful break. Inverness and Fort William are both within easy reach by car however if you prefer to stay closer to base, Drumnadrochit has an ample number of pubs, restaurants, take aways and grocery shops. The lodges are Surrounded by fantastic scenery and there are plenty of walks nearby to explore. This was a perfect

We have used this holiday place twice, only around 7 miles from Loch Ness, out in the countryside. A short drive takes you to a beautiful spot, Glen Afic, the most stunning views of streams and water falls. For countryside views and beauti, this is a must. The log cabins are situated in fields next to the farm, with views of the Highland cattle and sometimes the odd Deer. Donβt miss this opportunity in your lives.ππ

With our family, we stayed in two adjacent 3 bedroom spacious lodges with a large grass play area between them. Beautiful, fenced and safe setting ideal for children and of course our dogs. Forest track walking/ cycling and adjacent loch for a dip. Sheer bliss and topped with fantastic weather. Lots to do and good restaurants. A big thanks to Vincent the owner.

Just returned from a fantastic week's holiday at these lodges which are set at the foot of Lochletter Forest in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The lodges are very spacious and fairly modern. From all four lodges there is a track that takes you directly into the forest and it numerous trails which are ideal for walkers and cyclists. For the less active, the site is very quiet and tranquil and an ideal place for those looking to get away from it all and just relax. The lodges have fairly decent WiFi considering how remote they are and there is a smart tv.

A wonderful place to stay, the owners, Vincent & Claudia are really welcoming and I would stay there again anytime. Unlike most parts of the Highlands, there isn't the midge problem here but I would recommend taking a bottle of Avon Skin So Soft just in case (works better than anything else and smells nice too). The place is also Biker friendly 10 out of 10
