14.95 to remote areas such as the Scottish highlands and islands regardless of order value, 2-3 day service. For orders placed before 2pm, we will aim to despatch the same day; orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the next working day. Please note, we do not despatch on bank holidays or weekends, so any orders placed on these days will be despatched the next available working day.

My mother ordered some fluffy slippers for me. She wanted gloves but as they were not in stock the assistant suggested finger-less gloves. A complimentary note was added to wish me happy birthday. The phone call to the company was made after 2.00 pm on Wednesday and the nicely packaged parcel arrived the following morning. The slippers are warm and comfortable and a care label was included. You can't get better service than that, in my opinion.

I am over the moon with my alpaca slippers. They are so soft and cozy and they fit perfectly. Katie helped me order these slippers and she went above and beyond helping me pick out the perfect pair. I also couldn't believe how quickly they arrived. It only took 3 days for my slippers to be delivered in the US from the UK! Disappointing if you're in it for the alpacas. The shop itself offers a pretty decent assortment of alpaca and south-American themed stuff, ranging from overpriced novelty pan pipes through to genuinely nice (but pricey) rugs and clothing, with far more of the quality stuff than the novelty. The "tea room" is little more than a few tables arranged along one wall of the shop. Didn't stop to sample the food or drink - no reason to think it isn't good, but tea room is definitely pushing the description too far. The accessories in the shop, ie. Scarves, gloves etc.. are good quality & reasonably priced, but the quality alpaca clothing is far too expensive, although they have some great pieces. I think a bridge in the prices of items needs to be found. The staff were very welcoming & incredibly helpful. Thank you.

Lovely woolen clothing (alpaca of course) but very steep prices. Small coffee shop. The alpaca herd itself is now a shadow of its former self. The adjacent wood store has a good selection of hand and power tools and a vast selection of dowels, but not much in the way of timber on display other than turning blanks.
