Services
We were inspired by this site as we can see how much the relaxed atmosphere of a 'natural' spot to pitch your caravan, motor home, campervan or tent can be appreciated - a place where you can truly feel at one with your surroundings. A five-acre main camping area with spacious grass, Hardstanding and Serviced pitches available.
We have excellent dog walking facilities within the wooded areas so well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times within the park and picked up after. Maximum 2 dogs per pitch, a 3rd is at the site owners discretion. Our fully serviced pitches have a tap, waste water drain, electric hook up and some have a TV connection point.
We are on the northern side of the main A40, near Llangadog and about halfway between the delightful towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo which lie six miles to the east and six mile to the west respectively. If you are travelling through Llandovery, please ignore the sign for Llangadog and take the sign for Llandeilo instead - you will find this a far easier route.
Our on site reception has plenty of information to help you plan your stay here at Abermarlais. Welcome to the National Botanic Garden of Wales, the first national botanic garden to be created in the new millennium. 2009 is our ninth birthday. In such a short time, we have developed into one of the most fascinating gardens in the UK.

Just returned from 3 nights at this amazing adult only site. It really is a gem, so very peaceful with spacious pitches - grass, hardstanding and serviced. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. The toilet and shower block were immaculate and covid precautions all in place. Small on-site shop selling essentials and dvds for loan. Fantastic… dog walks directly from site, through woodland onto meadows and public footpaths. Our cocker spaniel loved it, so many different paths to explore, and a stream to cool off in. Tania and Steve, the owners, are extremely helpful and approachable

We had a 2 night break at this lovely park with campervan and awning this week. We managed to book it last minute, specifically looking for an adult only site, now that the schools have finished for the… summer. We were not disappointed. The site is beautifully maintained and felt exclusive, but not stuffy. We were greeted by Tania in the blazing heat and felt welcomed warmly, with all the information we could have wanted. The pitches were large, gravel based, serviced with minimum water and electric, though some also had personalgrey waste drains. For those that didn't, there was ample
