Favourite place skateboarding has taken you: Barcelona is always going to be my favourite place for skating. However I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit less documented places like Istanbul, Greece and Morocco. Favourite skater: I never know the answer to this. Probably Curren Caples because I would love to look as stylish as him on a board and never will!
Hometown: A small town on the outside of Stourbridge called Kidderminster, but nowadays I live in Birmingham and call that home. What size board do you ride: 8.38 is my favourite, but I like 8.25 too. Favourite place skateboarding has taken you: Either Barcelona or Poland. Love the scene in Barca, such a good vibe and the parks and spots were sick.

Buying your first skateboard can be a daunting process so we've put together a quick guide to help you understand the process. These are skateboards that are pre-assembled and ready to roll. All you have to do is decide which width to go for and which brand/graphic you like the most. This is a good way to get a skateboard with no hassles and then decide if you then want to upgrade the parts later.
The year 2020 saw a lot of older skaters picking up their boards again, this short guide is a way of bringing you up to speed with recommendations for getting back into it as an older rider. Its also important to remember that you shouldn't come back to skateboarding with any expectations, just go out and have fun!
