Took 6 rare basketball jerseys in to be altered for length and they did a fantastic job with them, and for a great price. I estimate the alterations saved me around £1100 if I were to buy the same jerseys in a smaller size, and they look absolutely perfect. Highly recommend.

I brought my jacket in nearly 2 weeks ago and asked for a black zip to be replaced by a new black zip.
When I collected the jacket the had put a gold zip on which wasn’t what I asked for. I was then told “you won’t see it “ and “ it looks ok”
Very disappointed customer who wants to give a local business a chance but unfortunately will not be returning

Needed my dress altered for an event and I was not disappointed! I previously went to a different tailor and was let down and the owner of sew simple not only fixed their mistakes but made the dress fit perfectly while also including my own requests. Got compliments all night and I have this place to thank, what a talented lady and I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone. Even cheaper than the previous place I went too which is always a plus

Fantastic service. I called them in the morning to get a quote, went for a fitting in the afternoon and collected my dress a week later. Best alteration store I've been to. The lady is very nice and altered my dress just like I wanted. She even called me when it was ready to collect!

I took a denim shirt that used to belong to my dad before he passed away and asked if it could be made into a jacket for me. I was told it would take a week to be completed. I am so impressed with how the jacket looks, it is exactly what I had hoped for. Amazing attention to detail. Would highly recommend going here.

I took my teddy bear that I have had for twenty six years to Sew Simple. It was quite tattered and damaged and was badly in need of repair. Sew Simple understood exactly what I wanted and restored the teddy bear to its former glory, while being delicate and caring. I am so grateful that my teddy bear has been repaired beautifully and can continue to be a treasured relic from my childhood. It was also not too expensive and included the materials and the labour. Best alterations place I have ever been too, I rang up on a Friday needing my trousers shortened for the next day - was told it would be no problem at all. It was ready on the same day but I picked them up the next day. The lady owner is really nice, I would highly recommend getting your garments altered here. The stitches matched the old ones and the work itself looked as if nothing had been done. HIGHLY recommend.
