A: This depends entirely on where you are buying the new piece from. A factory made piece will never be made to our high standards and is likely to feature cheaper materials that sacrifice aesthetics, comfort and/or durability to provide the lowest possible price.

Comparing apples with apples, re-upholstering and restoration of a quality piece will pretty much always be cheaper than buying the equivalent new again, however if you are the exception, we'll letyou know so you can make an informed decision.A: We can re-upholster all sizes and types of item using materials you supply or materials that you specify from our sample books.

Where suitable we'll use traditional materials and techniques, but will also advise you of where a better result might be achieved by updating materials or taking a slightly different approach to a repair. Where possible we'll repair the piece on site which provides both convenience and peace of mind for you.

Your tastes are not necessarily limited to antiques and neither are our services. We'll happily repair and restore any furniture items are precious to you.
