Our truly delicious sausages and burgers are made on the premises, using only the finest quality cuts of meat and, with a range of mouthwatering recipes to choose from, there really is something to suit every taste.All our meat is matured on the bone for 28 days to ensure tenderness and taste and is carefully selected, with complete traceability from farm to plate.

What a fantastic find I was looking for a few nice bits for our anniversary meal, it's the best butcher I've been to and the baked goods are next level. The cake tastes amazing and the prices are amazing £ 1.50 for a massive wedge of the most moist Victoria sponge and £ 2.00 for lemon drizzle loaf ,which was perfect ,staff are so nice and helpful best shop in newton stewart by far ..love it

We run The Stables Guesthouse in Newton Stewart (so we make a lot of breakfasts). We often get excellent comments & reviews about the breakfasts. We think a good part of that is down to the pork sausage and back bacon (cut on no.8 so it’s a bit thicker than standard) that we buy from J D Owen butchers, where we always get super quick and friendly service 👍

Wow...called into here while we were on holiday.
What a great butcher's. All the meat we got was terrific, the sausage wrapped in bacon with a peppercorn sauce in the middle...yum yum, the pork and apple burgers and pork sausages were also very yummy too.
Going to call before we go home to take some back to Leeds with us.
