For the weather and time of the year, this course was in fantastic condition. Fairways where great, and the greens spot on. Don't get me wrong, I won the society day, and the order of merit, so I am going to be a bit biased. Top course though 👌

Course was superbly presented and in excellent condition as were the club facilities. Bar service was lethargic and made more cumbersome by having multiple tills for food, coffee and drinks. The food served was excellent although I found 'some' of the bar staff to be rather discourteous and arrogant.

My grandfather lived at and managed Clitheroe Golf Club in the late 1930s where he ran the dining room. My grandmother cooked out of the residential kitchen on site. My dad told me stories. This is where he rode his first bike and would help the breadman with his deliveries.

An absolute stunner of a golf course.
The quality of the course from tees, fairways and greens must be in the top 3 in the North West.
I would highly recommend playing the course with stunning scenery.
Will definitely play again.
