Services
Here at Rishton Golf Club we used to have a lovely little nine hole golf course until 1982 when Motorway Construction decided that they would take the shortest route from Blackburn to Burnley, Nelson & Colne. They decided that they would use our 8th fairway as a guide and cut right through the middle of it leaving our 7th green and ninth tee a motorway width apart - not good for the members or the business in the clubhouse.
Existing members who have either 5 or 15 years continuous Membership at the full rate, immediately preceding their 65th birthday are entitled to a reduction in their subscriptions. Lockers are available at 30.00 each annually and are available on a first come first served basis. We also offer an interest free, standing order scheme to enable you to pay your subscriptions whilst still playing golf.
Rishton Golf Club boasts a new caterer in Debs who has chosen the quirky name of "Hole In One Caterers" to be known by. Debs is well known in the community and have a long history in the catering business. They can cater for any type of function and provide the food to match it, from a three course meal for dinners, or a buffet, meat/cheese and onion pie or simply sandwiches.
