About us Report

Pring and Son was founded in 1895 by Sidney Pring, continued by his son Gerald and the business is carried on today by his grandson Martin Pring, assisted by his two sons Richard and Stuart. During the Second World War Gerald's carpentry skills were put to use by the Navy to construct wooden minesweepers on the Dart estuary, while Sidney carried the business in Hemyock.

Pring & Son Funeral Directors offers a totally personalised service. We provide for all types of funeral ranging from very traditional church services to green funerals. Whatever type of funeral you require we can provide it, including natural or woodland burial grounds, humanist to C of E, RC, in places of worship or crematoria.
