Little Rascals is a small family run childcare chain in the West Midlands, where research, science and love creates inspiring spaces and resources. The nurseries are situated in Aldridge and Darlaston of Walsall. Each nursery has their own unique charm, resources and exceptional spaces. In addition to this, our practitioners understand how difficult it can be to choose a nursery for the first time.
With this is mind, along with their approach to childcare, children and their families often leave us with fond memories of the times they have spent at Little Rascals. Furthermore, we hope you enjoy looking around our website and gaining an insight of why we provide exceptional childcare. Thank you to the staff for settling my son into the nursery, they have been so caring and nurturing and have put my mind at ease when leaving him.

Little Rascals is situated in the leafy suburbs of Aldridge in a converted 1930's Print house and boasts almost an acre of outdoor play space. The nursery is a 10-minute walk from the village and has bus links to Walsall, Lichfield and Brownhills making it a very popular setting. The setting has been supporting children aged 3 months- 4 years since 2004.
At Little Rascals we follow our own curriculum called Roots to Growth. It has taken research from Reggio Emilia, Steiner, Maslow and Penni Tassoni, mixed in with our professional knowledge to create a curriculum that supports each child as an individual, giving them a confident head start.
At Little Rascals, our environments are changed constantly to ensure it is exciting and awe inspiring for our children, but we have also created environments which the children can focus and promote their emotional well being. With light airy spaces, filled with homely objects, natural calming colours and independent access to the outdoors.

Jade and Rhia are our Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCo) for Aldridge and Darlaston. They are responsible for looking after and supporting special education needs in nursery. Their main role is to ensure that each and every child and their families are able to obtain the right help and support.
At Little Rascals we believe outdoor play is an essential part of a child's development. We encourage children to play outside as often as possible and in all weathers. It's certainly fun in the sun but great when we can splash in puddles! Playing outside helps children to develop a sense of wonder, which is an important motivation for lifelong learning.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value
I highly recommend this nursery. My son enjoyed every bit of his time there. Starting from 3 months old, we saw him progressed with time reaching his targets with the support of the wonderful staffs. They were very supportive and communicated very well with us. I definitely recommend them

Eventhough I'm leaving a negative review I'd like to point out that the nursery staff here are AMAZING, when my child attended they enjoyed every minute and I couldn't praise them enough. The management however need a serious shake up. Clueless when it comes to account handling, never there and won't bother responding to queries. Had the audacity to send a letter threatening a debt collection agency for money I did not owe! After weeks of chasing you it was so unprofessional to send someone an undated letter on a Friday giving until Monday 8AM to pay and you're nowhere to be seen. Thank you again

This place is really just kids looking after kids. There are a few really good members of staff (all the jades, Kerrie, Adele) but it doesn't make up for the majority of school leavers (nothing against this but they seem to be overrun with them) also the staff turnover is high so by the time your child has warmed to someone, poof, they're gone.
My child is the best judge of character, and if they don't like/cry repeatedly at drop off to particular members of staff, I know it's because they have been unkind to my child.
There's no emphasis on education at all, it's all just games which is fine

This nursery is fantastic! I have had to pull my son out of various nurseries due to previous problems but he has bonded so well with the staff here, he loves going into nursery and is always happy when I go to collect him. I love seeing the activities he gets involved with on his online learning journey and I couldn't thank the girls enough for teaching him and building his confidence. The staff especially make the nursery a special place for my son because they take extra special care in making sure he is safe and happy. When we drop him off, he is being welcomed into a home, a place where he
