We understand that these are very different and difficult for everyone, especially our children. They are missing time with their extended family and friends. Supporting their mental health is vital, we have out together some tips for supporting your child during the current pandemic. We would like to congratulate our Foundation for Learning team on their outstanding practice.

During these difficult times they have provided children with emotional support and experiences that enable children to reach their full potential. Here are some websites you can access at home that gives you some activities you can do with your little one.
Services
Babies of six weeks and upwards are looked after by a qualified and caring staff team in their own quiet and stimulating room filled with soft cushions, feeding chairs, cots, colourful displays and mobiles. This is a happy place with plenty of time for hugs and cuddles and a safe environment for when your baby starts to crawl and walk.
Your child will start to learn all about development skills such as primary colours, shapes and counting. Children get messy playing with spaghetti and jelly; they splash in the water, dig in the sand and paint master pieces for them to take home for you to treasure. Social interactions are very beneficial to children of this age and your child will start to become aware of their peers and will develop friendships and make new friends.
My daughter has joined the explorers room this week and all the staff have been very friendly and welcoming to ensure both myself and my daughter feel comfortable. She has been excited to tell me about her day and her new friends which is fab! My little boys speech has come on so much, he loves the structure of Explorers room and the planned activities.
Charlies is an exciting provision at King Charles School for children from the age of 3-11 years. As part of the Bentley Federation, we offer Time 2 Start for 2 year olds, 30 hours free child care for 3-4 year olds, along with Breakfast Club, Afterschool Club, Wrap Around and Playscheme. Our playscheme is available to children aged from 3 years up to and including year six.
The new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) describes the time in your child's life between birth and age 5. It is a very important stage, as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. From the day that your child is born up until the age of 5, their early years' experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure; and support their development, care and learning needs.

Report
Both of my children have attended Bentley Child Care from 9 months onwards. I cannot sing there praises enough, they are the reason my children are bursting with confidence, are able to socialise with ease and are more then ready to start school.
Will always recommend to friends and family.
