Shirley Boarding Cattery is a small, exclusive CATS ONLY luxury cattery in a quiet, semi-rural setting on the edge of Shirley, Solihull. We specialise in the individual care of our feline guests, and treat each and every one as though it were our own. We are passionate about what we do, and would love you to come and see for yourself before you book a stay for your cherished cat.
You can visit at any time during our opening hours. All of our 20 sleeping chalets are heated and insulated. Our rates are very competitive. We are fully licenced for up to 30 cats with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. Licence number 091692. We now have recently increased to 20 pens. Please book-in with good notice as accommodation is becoming hard to find since the closure of more local catteries.

This was our first time using Shirley boarding cattery and we would definitely use it again. The place was clean, secure and warm. We were asked to provide proof of vaccination and information about our kittens diet etc. When we came to pick up our kitten, I could tell that she was happy and comfortable.

The cattery I have always used recently closed so I was very apprehensive of finding somewhere else as I will not leave my cat anywhere unless I know for certain that she will be well looked after. Thankfully my previous cattery recommended Shirley Boarding Cattery and after a quick visit and chat with Olwyn the bookings were made! Thanks Olwyn, Kevin and the staff at Shirley Boarding Cattery for looking after Maini, she will see you again soon in November and December.

Milly had her first stay recently and although she was confused as to why she was there on picking her up I could tell she'd be well looked after. She settled back into home straight away. She will be staying again soon so hopefully she'll be enjoy it a bit better. Olwyn, Kevin and kennel maid are lovely, caring people. I fully recommend.

I had real reservations about leaving my cat in the care of a cattery - and I looked at several before I found Shirley Boarding Cattery. I knew from the moment I walked in that it felt right. The owners and staff are genuinely lovely people and the premises are perfectly maintained.
When I collected Kitty after her first stay with them, she was happy and relaxed.

Absolutely fantastic cattery. Nothing was too much trouble. I boarded 3 cats for a week - one of whom was so terrified he soiled himself on arrival. I was promptly cleaned up as well as the cats, their carriers and belongings.
This is a brilliant cattery. Thanks so much for a perfect stay. 3 very happy, calm and healthy cats returned thanks to Olwyn and Kevin and their Kennel maid.

Just went to pick up phea and hunter after a week away, the cattery was lovely and clean and very well run absolutely lovely place for your Cats to stay. The whole time we was away they kept in contact with us to tell us how our CatS were too so that was really nice.Thank you guys once again we will definitely have my cats stay there again.

This review is long overdue! I moved to Solihull from London, and my fur baby had to tag along. Alfie grew up without a cat mom, and gets very nervous around strangers and new places. I gave the cattery a call and Kevin not only took my kitten from the station to the boarding, but also made sure that I reached safely to my new home. Thanks for looking after him while I was trying to settle in to a new place and new job. It would have been too much for Alfie and me to handle otherwise! Forever thankful!

Big Thank you to Olwyn & Kevin, for looking after Suzie. The Cattery is amazingly clean, in quiet area.. All the cats upon my visit looked very happy & relaxed.. For my cat Suzie, this will be her 2nd home from now on. Olwyn has got to be the Dr. Dolittle of cats, she has an absolutely amazing understanding with her cat guests..
