I have a lot of bookings coming up through the Summer. With family life to think about as well as pet care appointments, I'm struggling to keep up with lots of different timings, and to make sure that all the animals have the time and care dedicated to them. Iv made the decision to implement drop off and collection times effective immediately.
We also have indoor boarding facilities and space for temperature controlled vivariums and rodent cages. I want to ensure there are no upset tummy's so we ask you to please provide the small animals dry food from home and reptiles normal food. Rabbits and guinea pigs will have their own dedicated exercise space, large hutches and plenty of cuddles and interaction during their stay.
A 20 minute consultation either over the phone or via weblink Will consist of a triage then discussion of a topic of your choice. For rabbits this is a 3 day Dose of panacur as preventative treatment against internal parasites. Can be started here and shown how to continue or will be administered during a vacation stay.
As a vet nurse Iv had a lot of training in animal medicine, care and welfare. But also as a rabbit lover I have decided to learn a lot more about their behaviour and wellbeing. I have a diploma in Rabbit care, welfare and behaviour, I also have a certificate in Rabbit training. This isnt so I can teach them to sit and fetch oh no, it's more about how they respond and react to their environment and to each other.
1. Can't recommend Susan and Happy Hoppers enough! I actually met my lovelies, Magic and Elsa, when they were about 10 days old and it was a very long wait for them to finally be old enough to come to us! Absolutely loved the correspondence with Sue while we waited and the regular photos and videos were brilliant.

Susan from Happy Hoppers is amazing, she is so quick to reply to emails and questions, this was before leaving my 2 bunnies Boo and Honey with her. I was put at ease by her from drop off, with regular updates and photos. Originally my bunnies were staying with Happy Hoppers for two weeks, but unfortunately whilst I was away I caught covid and was unable to fly home. Susan was so understanding and very accommodating with me as I kept having to delay the collection date, she made a stressful time much more easy, knowing that my bunnies were in good hands. I will definitely be booking next time I

I felt so lucky to find Sue & her bunny boarding service. She always goes above and beyond to make my bunnies feel groomed & pampered & loved. She knows more about rabbits than most vets I've seen... and is always so helpful with advice. Her service is really flexible too, she has saved the day numerous times with boarding my bunnies quickly and without any hassle. Honestly... I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sue is absolutely amazing with bunnies, she took care of Pixie and Piper so well. I was totally reassured with her knowledge and care. She sent photos of them settling in. She was brilliant with nail care and grooming and my bunnies have now found a second home that I think both they and I will be using for a long time regularly.

Bit of a long review but worth a read if you've come looking for a bunny bonder. To summarise - Sue has magic.
Bit of a back story, I had a successful bond between the twins (Elsie and Floki) and Eric. Then came Steve and Dot. Steve, the champ, accepted the others with no difficulty forming a four. Dot, who is deaf, took against Floki, Elsie and Eric almost immediately. We tried EVERYTHING, but after two major fights (an awful scream and a huge bill at our vets) we gave up. I had almost given up entirely when my vet suggested a professional bonding service. Admittedly, I didn't know they existed

We had been struggling to bond our rabbits since May this year. After discussing the process with Sue we decided to book them in for a week. Sue kept us updated with messages and photos throughout the whole week and was quick to respond to questions.
The rabbits were happy together from the day we dropped them off. They have been back nearly a week and their bond is growing daily. Highly recommended Sue and the services she offers

She was so caring and helpful. It was lovely to see how they were getting on during their time with her. Her post bonding advice was invaluable.
I have just spent a lovely afternoon watching them all binky around their pen and chill together.

Sue was absolutely amazing. We sent our two buns who did nothing but fight to her and in one week she got them bonded. We had updates all the time, she listened to us and made the whole experience positive. We really can't thank her enough. The knowledge she has is amazing. Sue will be a friend for life and completely trust her knowledge.
