Services
Virtual classrooms offer live, interactive training, similar to those hosted at physical locations, but without the need to travel, and in the comfort of your own home. You will need internet access and a device, such as a computer, tablet or phone to participate. The venue is just a 3-minute walk from Holborn underground station and 5 minutes from Covent Garden.
The London School of Childcare Studies is made up of both permanent employees, and training partners, and with this dual approach, we are better able to bring expertise from qualified individuals who are also practicing in the industry, as well as manage course creation, delivery and administration efficiently and cost-effectively.
I allow London School of Childcare Studies to use my email address for the purposes of sending me the prospectus. A Maternity nurse provides essential support to parents with new-born babies, generally for up to six weeks following the birth, but can be longer. Your role is to ensure the family settles into life with their new-born and offer guidance and encouragement throughout.
The course comprises of a taught element and a number of assignments. The taught element consists of a set of weekly live sessions, covering 13 weeks. As well as prepared sessions, these include recaps and Q&A sessions, which are there for students to raise questions in a group setting. Alongside these, students need to complete a set of assignments, which are assessed, in order to complete the qualification.
This course offers nationally recognised qualification. The course combines high standards of teaching, mentoring and assessing, along with providing opportunities to gain practical childcare skills. Through participation in a work placement scheme, we provide students with an amazing opportunity to both study and build up their professional experience in childcare.
