To advance the education and development of children up to and including the age of 11 years in and around Wandsworth by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups. Formerly known at Wandsworth Primary Play Association we have over 40 years experience of working with childcare settings in and around the Wandsworth area.
Established in 1963 we have a wealth of local knowledge and experience of providing advice and support to childcare settings on all aspects of operating a successful and thriving business, including: Recruitment, Childcare practise issues, Safeguarding issues and more. Services
Established in 1963, our experience enables us to understand the very different needs of childcare settings through our continued work for over 50 years. The Charity was established in 1963 and was initially funded by a grant from Wandsworth Council for its central administration as well as a separate amount to administer grant funding to individual Playgroups and childcare settings in Wandsworth.
We have a team of workers who have a wide range of skills and experience related to the field of childcare. Employed for over 20 years, providing direct support and advice to childcare settings. Robina has a NVQ Level 3 diploma. Robina holds an Adult Teachers qualification and has lectured NVQ Level 2 and 3 childcare qualifications for practitioners.
