Kensal Green Under Fives Group is a nursery based in Mortimer Road near Kensal Green tube station in North West London. We currently have around 36 children between the ages of 20 months and five years in our care. The nursery is managed on a not for profit basis by parents and staff. We all own it.

Services
Within the group all children are supported in developing their potential. Our key person system enables us to ensure a planned curriculum tailored to the needs of each individual child.
By developing appropriate play activities and a high level of individual adult input, we offer a curriculum which leads to nationally approved learning outcomes and which prepares children, at five years of age, to progress with confidence to the National Curriculum.

Two of them have post-graduate Early Years Teacher Status. Staff are able to access training provided by our local authority and colleges and universities. We actively promote continuous training. Tracey has an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education and is currently studying for her Level 3. Margaret our Manager, has an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and Early Years Teaching Status.
