Services
Our garden centre is independent and family run and not a member of any buying group or part of any garden centre chain. Our product ranges change throughout the year. We don't sell online but we do carry a huge range which you can take home straight away- or which we can deliver. To enquire about a particular product call us on 0161 681 4245.

Caf Riverside, as the name implies, is situated right alongside the river and our sunny open terrace allows you to sit outside and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the water passing by (you might even see a kingfisher or heron if you keep your eyes open) as you take morning coffee and cakes. Caf Riverside also offers a range of traditional breakfast items, sandwiches, tasty soups, toasties and classic lunch dishes available throughout open hours.
Gift Vouchers are available in store or by ringing our main telephone number on 0161 681 4245. The voucher is only valid if it has a Daisy Nook Garden Centre stamp on the rear of the voucher. No change will be given against a gift voucher, however, a credit note will be issued for the purchase of goods below the value of the voucher.
We are happy to welcome coach parties or groups by appointment and can offer soup and a sandwich, morning coffee or afternoon tea packages at a very competitive rate in a private room. A local historian will explain how Daisy Nook got its name, the links to local artists and poets and how Lowry captured the area on canvas.

This time of year the garden supplies get largely replaced with Christmas decorations, but I still got what I wanted. Best garden centre in my local area.

Nice garden centre with a good range of plants and flowers. Is sometimes under stocked and can be hard to find everything you're looking for but staff are very nice and helpful. Great that it is dog friendly!

Dont bother the staff are distinctly unhelpful .I bought a large stone figurine and as i was struggling to lift it off the display that it was on ,A member of staff walked past and didnt offer to help just pointed to some low level trolleys and told me to use one of those .If it wasnt for the help of another customer i couldnt have lifted it ,When i paid for the item i asked for a lift and cheekily a discount all i just got told no chance when i got the figurine out side if it wasnt for another customer helping me lift it i couldnt have done it ,
Any one wanting to go to a garden centre i suggest

My wife and i had breakfast in the "not so little" coffee shop today.
surroundings were clean and comfortable, and the service good and cheerful.
food was of good quality and not over-priced.
a few things could be improved though.............................cutlery was very tatty and still dripping wet when we retrived it from the communal cutlery tubs...... this isnt hygeinic because other customers have had their dirty hands in there.
secondly the sauces were of the cheapest quality and diminished rather than enhanced the food..................surely h.p. and heinz sauces wouldn&apos

If you're a green-fingered plant lover blessed with a garden, then you might want to take a trip to Daisy Nook garden centre in Failsworth. This is a one-stop shop for everything from annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees to pots, compost, furniture, barbecues and chimeneas at great prices.

In particular, their bedding plants (pansies, petunias, marigolds) have remained the same price for 10 years now at £2.49 per 6-pack. Bigger indoor and outdoor plants start at just £2 and planters too are plentiful and cost conscious.

The clincher for me though is Daisy Nook's home ware department
