Harestock Nursery
Harestock Nursery is set in a convenient location on the outskirts of Winchester offering 50 places for children from 6 months up to 5 years. We offer extensive and designated play and engaging learning areas with a large, secure garden designed to develop and inspire the imagination. The staff will guide each individual child along their own individual learning trail.

We offer a place where children are all accepted for who they are and not fitted into some preconceived notion of what a child should be at their age. To work within the Statutory Framework and Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. We would encourage parent partnership and active participation to optimise the child's growth and development to reach their full potential.
Services
The Robins room is a calm home from home where we will seek to follow the same routines parents have with their child. Each child will be allocated a key worker who will liaise with the parents and offer continuity for both parent and child to be able to offer the support ensuring the child's individual needs are met and supported throughout their time at the nursery, with each daily milestone being recorded in their personal diaries.
Parents and careers who want their child to attend the Nursery need to make an appointment with the Nursery Manager to have a guided tour of the premises, you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's individual needs and the hours and days you will require. Every new child will be introduced to the team who will care for you child and dates for settling in sessions would be arranged.
We believe our mealtimes should be happy, sociable times and children are encouraged to interact between themselves and with staff at these times. We are committed to offering healthy, nutritious balanced meals and snacks which meet individual needs and requirements. We use the 'Eat better, start better' publication and guidelines to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirements.

Flo graduated from Harestock nursery yesterday after attending for 3 years 8 months. First baby on Fridays when the nursery opened. We could not be happier that we chose Harestock nursery for our daughter. We… warmed to Julia immediately, the nursery is where you would want your child to be. Such a warm family environment. Flo is going to miss Julia, Kevin the girls and the rest of the nursery team. Now her little brother has begun his journey with them. Thank you for everything.

Elodie has just graduated from Harestock today! Thank you so so much Julia, Kevin and the whole team. Élodie was baby number 2 into the newly formed nursery back in December 2016 and here she is in 2020 ready… to go to school. She has made so many friends and adored her experience at the nursery. Julia when I met you, you instantly had the warmth and care I was looking for, and this permeates across the team. Élodie has blossomed in your care and I recommend you wholeheartedly - so much so I’m sending Raphael to you starting next week! He is going to adore all your outdoor

After 2 months of going once a week, my little boy is excited about going to 'play' with Julia and Anne, who take great care of him all day! Thank you for my art work and especially the valentines card I got of his footprints.
