Services
Hello, I hold the grand title of Nursery Principal and am very fortunate to work with a wonderful team throughout the Nursery all of whom are dedicated to the care of your children with a passion. My background is as a registered General Nurse, I hold level 4 in Childcare, my role is more personnel and support or the team here at Busikids.
We have four main indoor areas within the Nursery, all specially equipped for the different aged children - each play room has a dedicated carpeted area, an area of waterproof flooring - ideal for meal-times and creative/table top activities, plus a quiet area with floor cushions for cuddles, stories and rest times.
The children are able to explore through the shrubbery, under the big apple tree and down to the play house and 'wild' bamboo area where they can hunt for bears (or creepy crawlies), build dens and generally have a wonderful time out in the fresh air at all times of the year in all weathers.
We have a 'construction area' with different materials and stones for building and digging and a permanent sandpit, age appropriate climbing frames, we even have the occasional fire pit for Pre-school, plus so much more.

All our children have many opportunities through both child-led and adult-led activities to learn through their play. This ongoing development is further enhanced as we follow the guidelines set down by the governments Early Years Foundation Stage commonly referred to as the EYFS.
Busikids Nursery Manager, Charlotte Angel, ensures that all updates are understood and implemented by our professional team of nursery practitioners and that they also attend regular training sessions and staff meetings.This then ensures continuous provision for all the children. Each room has its own way of planning that incorporates observations for all the children to help assess their progress and to plan for their next steps.

Busikids is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 for Breakfast Club if you choose this option - otherwise 8 am to 6 pm, 8 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 6 pm, the pre-school does operate slightly different hours between this. Our typical day is to welcome children and parents for Breakfast club, take hand over an settle the children with breakfast provided by Busikids.
