Services
This year the school has certainly continued to grow with many new children joining our school and we welcome them all. But we have grown in other ways as well, the good and outstanding teaching, leadership, pastoral and cultural experience has embedded in the school which means that we can be sure the children are getting an excellent educational experience.
At Oliver's Battery Primary School we understand the value of Sport and PE and believe that all children should be given the opportunity to take part in regular sport, including competitions both in school and against other schools. At Oliver's Battery Primary we believe that P.E. and sport build self-esteem, teamwork and leadership skills.
Oliver's Battery Primary School is a friendly school situated in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Winchester. It is an excellent environment in which children can learn and grow. We are very fortunate in having superb grounds including ponds, copses, wilderness areas and commanding views across Winchester.
As a primary school, we believe that our vision and ethos combined with the British values have to be lived consistently in daily school experiences for the children to gain true understanding and to apply the skills they learn. We promote caring and trusting relationships based on trust, respect and tolerance.
Oliver's Battery is in partnership with other local Primary Schools and Kings' School, Winchester. Staff and leadership from the school work closely with us to ensure pupils have a smooth transition to secondary education, with high expectations and rich challenges ahead of them. Although there is a wide choice of schools for Year 7 and upwards, we have an excellent relationship with Kings' School.

I have witnessed one family have numerous problems with another family over bullying problems i have also seen them talking to the headteacher but nothing has been done, I have seen the other parent shouting and screaming at the other family which i find appalling for my children to see. I went to pick my kids up today and was approached by the parent who was shouting in the car park being asked to sign a petition to remove the innocent mother and her innocent kids from the school. I notified the headteacher but she said no actions could be done because its end of the school day i just think that
