Randall Surveys
Established in 1977, Randall Surveys LLP is a multi-disciplinary survey practice based in Bures, on the Essex/Suffolk border. We provide a full range of land, hydrographic, measured building and engineering surveying services to clients throughout the UK and from a variety of industries. We employ the latest survey techniques and equipment to provide fast, accurate and efficient spatially referenced data.

A large proportion of our work is repeat business from customers who recognise and appreciate our quality of service, flexibility and consistently high standards. We are also increasingly finding new clients who, either by reputation, word of mouth or experience, value working with a survey team that is adaptable enough to meet their requirements.

Based on the Suffolk/Essex border, Randall Surveys is a multi-disciplinary team of land surveyors, building surveyors and hydrographic surveyors, providing a range of surveys throughout the UK. Our fully trained and qualified teams are equipped with the latest technology to ensure fast, accurate and efficient data capture.
Randall Surveys will undertake projects, ranging from a single building plot to green and brown field development sites. Our skilled survey teams are equipped with the latest surveying equipment and are dedicated to providing accurate, high quality data, and a first class presentation of results. A GPS Survey is a fast and reliable means to accurately collect data.
Randall Surveys undertakes a range of measured building surveys on structures of all sizes, from single storey one-room pump houses to ten storey flats or offices, or even cathedrals! These surveys are often combined with our GPS and Land Survey expertise to provide a complete one-stop service.

Our survey crews are equipped with modern data capture equipment and undertake building surveys throughout the UK in a wide variety of environments and for many different purposes. Our drawings are typically used as part of a redevelopment or refurbishment project, or as plans for building maintenance and archive records.
For many civil engineering and construction projects, particularly on brownfield sites, detailed CAD drawings of underground services, based on accurate land/topographic survey information, are essential at the design stage to use or avoid existing buried services, drainage networks and other potential obstructions, and for effective planning of new services.
Hydrography deals with the measurement and description of underwater features such as depth, tides, currents and bottom profiles. Bathymetric surveys are a specific subset of this which deals with the mapping of the underlying bed. Hydrographic surveys are used for a variety of activities, such as construction, port and harbour maintenance, dredging and coastal engineering and management.
