I had a really good experience at the surgery today. I had a procedure carried out by Dr Appleyard and could not fault the service I received. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process!

Too many problems to mention here. Some of the problems are eg GPs aren't interested. They told me I didn't have heart problems and told my cardiologist that as well. I insisted on an echocardiogram and lo and behold the results are - I have heart problems. They ignore consultant treatment plans and just file them away. If you complain nicely they react badly. They want to do everything by phone even though the symptoms are extremely serious. You never get to meet a doctor. Even consultants have criticised their poor care and attention. I don't feel safe with them at all so my family and I have

The best doctors surgery I've ever been too. New phone appointments work brilliantly, doctors are always so polite and listen. I book my appointments online the night before so you can choose which doctor you wish to speak to, The nurses are also fantastic. Thank you Castle medical centre 😁.

Never had the best receptionists ( recently getting much better ) but the Doctors and Specialist Staff are awesome so it gets 5 stars and my family have been with them for over 10 years now.

So an update from my previous very negative comment, that I still stand by. I changed surgeries recently due to the staff rudeness, and I'd like to add, I was not impressed by the sign on reception today explaining that they have lost members of staff due to patient rudeness. I was a bit annoyed that they didnt take responsibility and apologise to the patients that those members of staff were rude to. But I did notice a big change, new reception staff that were very nice and very helpful. Although I have left now, I do hope this is a start to better things. I was very impressed, and I think it

There are a few excellent doctors there, and if you can get to see them you are very well looked after. However, the appointment system does not work well. I phoned yesterday on my husband's behalf to arrange ear syringing (he could not hear well enough to make the call). I was told he'd need a referral to the hosp to get them done (apparently they don't do syringing now) but this would take weeks! I pointed out that it was urgent and was told someone would phone me. They never did, so today he had to pay privately to have them done (£70). The system needs to be improved so that it's patients

Great practice and although the telephone booking system isn't all that convenient it does work and I have been able to see a doctor on the day when I've needed to. The GPs, Practice Nurses and Receptionists that I've seen/spoken to have all been friendly, helpful and understanding.

A very time consuming appointment process. I believe that no one is willing to make a phone call or disturb any medical staff in case of a last resort. Our family of three moved to Kenilworth last year. Then we immediately registered to Castle Medical Centre. After 8 months, my husband had to make an appointment with a doctor today and even said that my husband’s name was not on their system. Ask him to re-register. Once, my son made an appointment and waited for their phone to reply, but I didn't expected their phoned response was already 5:30pm. That time, I was on my way to work. Don't they

1. Receptionists should not be asking the nature of a patients ailment, it is none of their business.
2. The call back system needs looking at.I updated my mobile number and all worked fine the 1st time (I visited personally to ensure they took the old number off their system and was told it had been).
The 2nd time, I did not get a call back & when I phoned, they told me the GP had phoned me on my old mobile which I believed had been removed. Poor organisation!

It used to be pretty awful and I agree about the receptionists. But it has improved. Apart from the fact that most of the doctors - at least the women - I have met over the years are fine practitioners, the appointment system is OK now and the receptionist I spoke to today was efficient and amiable.
