The whole process was fairly straight forward, and the support team were ready to help with any queries if there were any difficulties. The car was perfect for our journey & the difficulties we first encountered starting the car with the app were sorted out by the owner. All in all, highly recommended & we will definitely use them again. Fabulous idea which creates income for the owner if they're not using their car & undercuts the big car hire hire companies, making it more affordable, especially during holiday periods. I've used HiyaCar for at least 12 hires for less than a day to up to a week. I've always found the choice, accessibility and quality excellent. Customer support has been great when needed. Prices are generally competitive, and the NHS discount (following the generous free hire scheme at the beginning of the pandemic) is excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Initial set up took longer than I would have liked because like Airbnb they do proper checks. But found a good car with a helpful owner. It was clean and drove beautifully. Check-in and check-out using the app were very quick and easy condition pictures are standard part of that. It as also very affordable compared to main name alternatives and I am about to book again.
