Nevis Bank Inn
The Nevis Bank Inn is a modern 4 star hotel providing quality accommodation and an acclaimed restaurant on the banks of the River Nevis. It stands at the entrance to Glen Nevis, one of the most beautiful glens in the West Highlands of Scotland known for its trails and wildlife, not to mention home of UK's tallest mountain, Ben Nevis.

We are a small hotel with 30 comfortable well furnished bedrooms and one of the most popular Restaurants in the town. We serve delicious breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners alongside a diverse range of drinks and beverages. The Nevis Bank Inn is home to Brown's Restaurant. Enjoy a meal or special occasion in modern and contemporary surroundings whilst our award winning kitchen team prepares a menu with a range of local fresh produce.
Services
The Nevis Bank is owned by Derek & Bernadine Claase who have owned and run a number of hotels over the years. In 2003 we sold all our hotel interests and retired from the industry. However we did also have a small house building company which kept us busy and productive. In 2007 when the banks collapsed the property market dried up we ended up with lots of unsold houses, a fabulous building team and nothing to do.
All pictures on the website are meals prepared in our kitchen using the finest quality ingredients, locally sourced and freshly prepared. Salmon Gravalax served with Rye Cracker, Celeriac and Fennel Remoulade, Celeriac tartare, Capers and Rocket Salad. Our Restaurant is extremely busy during peak season used by not just residents but also many locals and customers staying in other establishments.
First time stay at the Nevis Bank Inn and hopefully not the last. Excellent rooms, first class, friendly staff who were happy to go above and beyond. Ours was a family stay across two rooms which were next to each other. Whilst we did not avail ourselves of the Breakfast (our choice), the evening menu and service was varied and of a high standard.
The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola is the only one of its kind in Britain and reaches the heights of 650m. It was built on the north face of Aonach Mr, the 8th highest mountain in Britain, originally as a way to transport skiers to the slopes. The Mountain Gondola has become an amazing visitor attraction, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenic ride and absorb the stunning views and clear mountain air.

Ate in the restaurant. Food expensive though my lamb dish was good. Poor beer choices. Venue nice and warm after a long day hiking but decor quite modern and sterile.

I can't say much about the Hotel, but this included cool roadside stop. A "Shop and Dine," Cafeteria Style, on the Banks and Bend of Loch Linnhe & Loch Eil. Our tour bus along with many others have supported the livelihood of the fine people working in the shop and kitchen.

Fish 'n Chip's in the Highlands of Scotland seemed the best option for a rewarding survival of the "Shop & and Female Companions." You place your order with tray in had. It then getting barked to the back and after a short and painless wait - botta bing the piping (no pun intended

Terrible value for money considering its 4 star status and prices to match. The rooms lack character and resemble convenience chains (Premier Inn, Ibis etc.) I had a room with a window that opens out at a wall.

We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly but I've stayed at many dog friendly hotels, especially in outdoor bases like Fort William and none of them have offered rooms as filthy as this one. The carpet was stained with a tapestry of marks and my dog was left scratching himself all night.

Can't imagine why the independent owners think they can justify the prices on these
