Services
Our initial focus in this room is to provide a calm and warm emotional environment for babies where they feel loved and cared for. With secure relationships in place and knowing each child individually, we can respond to your babies' needs capably and sensitively.
Our baby room team work with and care for your child throughout their time in baby room, ensuring all aspects of care such as nappy changing, bottle feeding, weaning and nap times are well understood for individual children as well as ensuring the provision of lots of exploratory and sensory play opportunities that are planned to support your child's individual stage of development.

With a beautiful open plan space and access to the outdoors every day, toddlers are busy painting, splashing, building and making new friends. This unique stage of children's development needs knowledgeable, playful and empathetic adults to help toddlers develop socially and emotionally. We're here to support parents too with sound advice to help you through toilet training, tantrums and food phases to name a few!
The same curriculum follows your child through to the end of their Reception Year at school. We have strong links with all our local schools to make the transition to school smooth and your child's experience a positive one. The balance of teaching and play and a rich learning environment means children are equipped with everything they need to build all the characteristics of effective learning to help them through school.
We know that young children need to be active to learn and this is a key principle of all aspects of our provision at nursery, both indoors and outdoors. The outdoors however provides unique and special opportunities for movement and play that our team take advantage of every day with children.
Our outdoor space at Astbury Lane Nursery is equipped with an outdoor play house, mud kitchen, climbing frame and extensive space and resources where the play opportunities are endless.

My son has been at this nursery for 9 months now and I'm so glad we put him in here, especially after being quite isolated during the pandemic. The staff have always gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease, keeping us informed of what he's doing in the baby room and any sharing photo's on the app. They really seem to care about all the children in the nursery and my son will happily walk in or give them a hug at drop off. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Awful nursery, high staff turnover for good reason, staff bully newbies in higher roles as they feel they’ve a god given right to the job because they’ve been there longer.
Staff that’ve been there longer can do virtually no wrong, they say they live by the ethos of being a “team” I’ve yet to see them work as a team.
Management/owner live so far up there own backsides they don’t even realise what the issue is when slapped in the face with it.
They’ll continue to have high turnover as long as the bullying culture remains. The same can be said for the owner, toxic place to work

This is by FAR the most loveliest cleanest nursary I have ever come across.
before I had even looked in the rooms at this nursary I had already decided this was the place for my most precious possession in the world. ( my little dot thea) an this was just on talking to the staff. when I spoke to them they talked so highly about their nursary ( it sounded to good to be true ) upon visiting the nursary I was blown away. it ticked every box an then a few more. they most certainly deserve to be rated outstanding.

This nursery is very special. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They all care so much for the children. My little boy started in the baby room 3 months ago and he is loving it. The baby room staff are excellent providing so many different activities and a safe environment. I highly recommend Astbury Lane Nursery and we would like to say a Huge thank you to Emma (Manager) and her team.

My little boy has just started here. I have been very impressed with the settling in process to help ease him in,especially as he is still so little. The staff I have met and observed have really impressed me. My son's keyworker Chloe has been very thorough, she is a credit to the nursery and I am very happy with the bond she has already created with my boy. Thank you to all your staff :)

Our son has been going to Astbury for 18 months now and he has blossomed. He has been in both the toddler and pre-school rooms. Staff are lovely and ensure he is entertained and learning every day. He always comes home with things to talk about and enjoys his days there. Thanks to all staff for their ongoing excellent childcare.

I decided to move my boys to this nursery for locality and they struggled to settle at their previous nursery when dropping them off. They are really enjoying it here and now shout good bye and wave at me a soon as they arrive. The staff are all amazing and really have my boys individual development at the heart of the nursery. The manager really is great and so amazing too.

Fabulous nursery, my daughter is very happy here, all the staff are kind and caring, would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
The surrounding is lovely and the activities are fantastic. The communication is so much more than I expected and overall I couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather leave Flo.
If you are lucky enough to get a place here grab it, best choice I could have made for child care.

Simply amazing nursery! The staff are wonderful, so caring and patient, lovely homely surroundings with great organisation and fantastic resources for the children. They do lots of activities on a daily basis,… no two days are the same. And as for the food....what can I say? Simply amazing! The children eat better than us adults! Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds at Astbury Lane Ends Nursery. Thank you so much team!

Sophia has joined this nursery, i have never seen such care and time taken with each and every child, it is really above and beyond anything i have seen before. Only 2 weeks in but she is loving the nursery, and settled great. Also, the food menu, and the food they eat, is all home made and too a high standard. I would recommend anyone to take there child here. You won't be disappointed.
