Services
Townhouse Nurseries are part of our group of six nurseries, all sharing the same vision, educational ethos and approach to working with children and families. Our strong belief is that we can best meet the needs of parents, children and our team by listening to what they have to say about nursery. You will find many opportunities to tell us what you think and how we can improve right from the start.
The nursery environment plays a crucial part in children's emotional well-being. Here at Townhouse we know that the space children occupy throughout their day needs to feel it belongs to them.
Parents need to feel welcome and at home, not just a visitor, and staff should feel not only pride in their nursery, but also that they have the necessary ownership to use the environment in a way that supports and extends children's learning spontaneously and creatively.

Our focus in this room is to provide a calm and warm emotional environment for babies where they feel loved, cared for and happy to play and explore. Both baby rooms care for children in small groups, allowing relationships to build and strengthen and babies to feel confident they will always have a trusted and known adult (their key person) to take care of them.
With a beautiful open plan space and access to the outdoors every day, toddlers are busy painting, splashing, building and making new friends. This unique stage of children's developments needs knowledgeable, playful and empathetic adults to help toddlers develop socially and emotionally. We're here to support parents too with sound advice to help you through toilet training, tantrums and food phases to name a few!
Helping children prepare for school is one of many important elements of what happens in pre-school. Evidence from research shows that high quality pre-school provision during the foundation years (0-5 years) has a lasting impact on children's future learning. Both our pre-schools at Townhouse provide "high quality" elements that come together to create a rich learning environment and one in which children can thrive.

Townhouse has been an amazing nursery and both my girls have attended. The staff are amazing and have become more like family than nursery staff over the years. They have supported us every step of the way and have always gone above and beyond with the children's learning. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else! I highly recommend this nursery.
