At Sanders Vets, your pets are in good hands. We have 3 veterinary surgeons and offer a full range of veterinary services including surgery, medicine, x-rays, ultrasound and other facilities.
Services
We perform neutering operations for male and female dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and occasionally, other species. Neutering involves removal of the testicles in male animals (castration) and removal of the ovaries and uterus in female animals (spaying). For dogs and cats, we usually recommend that the procedure be carried out when they are about six months old.
If it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

My dog Charlie loves coming here, he is always happy and the staff are always friendly and make a fuss of him. the vet's are always friendly and approachable and professional, he has had an op here and. Made a full recovery, the staff were very understanding and were helpful with any questions that I had.

I take both my cats to Sanders and they are very professional my one cat thinks she is a ninja and jumps and tries to hide and instead of vet getting annoyed she waited for Harley to come back out herself other vets used to get annoyed by her. Sanders are very good with animals and are so caring. Definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.

I've been bringing my cat here for years and the service is impeccable. From reception to surgeon, the service is friendly, welcoming and professional. They took care of my pet insurance claim without me having to do it myself and they genuinely care about my cat. I think he likes them too! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We transferred to Sanders after being disappointed with the service at our previous vets and where it was located. Our first visit was amazing, they were so comforting, warm and welcoming even with the pandemic. They kept in contact with me notifying me updates of my dog and when I went to pick my dog up they had even took the time to provide a personalised care plan for her.
When you ring they are informative and will always get back to you if they can’t give you the answer you seek at that time. The prices are really good and considering the service you get from them are definitely worth it
